  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Steps to Cook

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened.
  3. Gradually pour in the heavy cream, whisking continuously to prevent lumps from forming.
  4. Add the lemon juice, lemon zest, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk to combine.
